The outer shell is made from genuine cowhide grained leather, with a stated thickness of 1.2–1.3 mm. A kangaroo leather option at 0.8–0.9 mm is also listed. Samtex S1 stretch material is used at the crotch, behind the calf and under the sleeves to support flexibility.
