The Tom Sykes BMW Motorrad WSBK 2019 Leather Race Suit is a one-piece motorcycle racing suit inspired by Tom Sykes' BMW Motorrad WSBK racewear. It features an anatomically mapped fit intended to support rider movement, with a combination of grained leather, S1 stretch material, removable protection and a macro mesh lining.
The suit is available with customization options covering leather choice, fit, perforation, lining, graphics and color, allowing the configuration to be adapted to individual preferences.
The standard outer shell is made from genuine cowhide grained leather in 1.2–1.3 mm thickness. A kangaroo leather option in 0.8–0.9 mm thickness is also specified.
S1 stretch material is positioned at the crotch, behind the calves and under the sleeves to provide greater flexibility while riding. Double/triple stitching is used in the construction for improved tear resistance.
Other construction details include genuine YKK zippers at the front, cuffs and ankles, along with leather patch work and embroidery or printed logos according to the design.
The suit includes certified external protections and removable internal protection components.
The anatomically mapped fit is designed around rider movement and comfort. S1 stretch sections at key movement areas provide flexibility, while the inner polyester mesh lining helps provide a more comfortable interior.
The internal protection components and aerodynamic hump are removable, giving riders the option to adjust the suit's configuration.
