The Leon Haslam BMW SBK 2011 Leather Race Suit is a one-piece motorcycle racing suit inspired by Leon Haslam's BMW SBK racing design. It combines a rider-focused anatomically mapped fit with a genuine leather outer shell, stretch panels, removable protection, and practical customization options.
Designed for riders who want a distinctive BMW SBK-inspired racing look with configurable fit and construction, the suit can be ordered with different leather, perforation, lining, color, and fitting options.
The standard outer shell is made from genuine cowhide grained leather with a thickness of 1.2–1.3 mm. A kangaroo leather option with 0.8–0.9 mm thickness is also available.
S1 stretch material is positioned at the crotch, behind the calves, and under the sleeves to provide flexibility during riding. Genuine YKK zips are used at the front, cuffs, and ankles.
The suit also features professional leather patchwork and double/triple stitching intended to improve tear resistance.
The suit includes certified external protections and removable internal PU protection.
CE-approved removable PU protection is provided at the shoulders, elbows, knees, back, and hips. Additional PU protection is stitched at sensitive areas including the elbows and knees.
For knee protection, the suit includes CE-approved removable knee sliders with Velcro below the knee for attachment. The aerodynamic hump is also removable.
The anatomically mapped fit is designed to support rider movement and comfort. S1 stretch panels at key movement areas allow additional flexibility around the crotch, calves, and sleeves.
An inner polyester mesh lining is used for comfort, while the available fit options allow the suit to be configured as Slim, Regular, or Relaxed.
